Charity of the Year
For 2025 we are proud to be supporting
Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice, Moggerhanger, Bedfordshire
Sue Ryder is there to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need.
Last year, Sue Ryder cared for more than 8,700 people in our hospices including from Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice in Bedfordshire. We also offer a 24/7 advice and support line for the county – a nurse-led service that supports people through their palliative journey and connects them to relevant services and care.
Alongside Sue Ryder’s expert and compassionate palliative care services, is a suite of supportive bereavement services for people living with grief and their families and friends. These include: our online bereavement community, online self-help platform, Grief Guide, and our local Grief Kind Spaces across Bedfordshire offering free and informal peer-to-peer support
As a charity Sue Ryder is heavily reliant on the generosity of people like you getting behind us, especially at a time when the cost of delivering our care is increasing and we know more people will need us in the future. With your help, Sue Ryder can continue to deliver its expert and compassionate care because no one should face death or grief alone
