A Night to Remember at the Proms!

What a fantastic time we had at our Night at the Proms! A huge thank you to the Bedford Town Band Concert Brass and the wonderful Amici Singers for making the evening truly special.
The theme of the night was “Music from Around the World,” and we were treated to a wonderful selection of traditional folk songs from England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland, as well as some vibrant tunes from America. From lively songs about leprechauns and pipers to sweet melodies about winds and sugar candy, the programme had something for everyone. The Gershwin medley was an absolute highlight, too!
The evening concluded with a rousing performance of Rule Britannia and Land of Hope & Glory, leaving the audience on a high.
And for those who couldn’t be there in person, the concert was broadcast live by Hospital Radio Bedford, so no one had to miss out on the magic!
